38 Years of Yorkshire Culinary Excellence
Holmesterne Farm Co. Limited was incorporated on 25 September 1986, beginning from a catering butchery base in North Yorkshire. Over nearly four decades, the business has grown and flourished by offering innovative, value-added meat and vegetable products to retailers, food manufacturers, and food service customers.
Today, operating as Holmesterne Foods, we run two modern manufacturing facilities — at Brompton-on-Swale and Leeming Bar — employing approximately 140 people across production, quality, engineering, commercial, and support functions.
In August 2025, Holmesterne joined the Troy Foods group, bringing together two established Yorkshire food businesses and creating opportunities for expanded product offerings and operational capabilities.
